Deponien und Klimawandel: Deponien sind eine der größten anthropogenen Quellen für Methan (CH4)-Emissionen, ein starkes Treibhausgas (THG), das über einen Zeitraum von 100 Jahren 28-36 Mal effektiver ist, Wärme in der Atmosphäre einzuschließen als Kohlendioxid (CO2).
